Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Panel Van

The van that goes the extra mile

It's just a van. Except it isn't

Businesses have relied on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for more than 30 years, and the latest Panel Van shows why. Choose from three lengths and two roof heights, with a load floor of up to 4.81 m and a payload of up to 3,090 kg. In the cab, MBUX multimedia and a full suite of driver assistance systems make the working day easier. Every delivery reflects your business, and the Sprinter is built to help you deliver the standard it is known for.

Exterior & Technology Highlights

LED High Performance headlamps

The option to add LED High Performance headlamps to light the road evenly and sharpen the Sprinter’s front design.

Large sliding doors

Wide sliding door openings make loading from the side quick and easy. A windowless sliding door on the left is standard. A second sliding door on the right can be added, with or without windows, and the doors can also be specified to open and close electrically

Rear variants & Rear steps

Double-wing rear doors with windows are fitted as standard. As an option, the rear doors can open right back to the side wall and be held in place at 90°. Climbing into the load area is easier with the optional rear door step.

4x4 all-wheel drive with torque on demand

When traction matters, the variable all-wheel drive system sends drive to the front and rear axles as required. It adapts to the conditions automatically, within milliseconds, for better grip and a more comfortable ride. All-wheel drive is available on selected models with the 140 kW engine.

9G-TRONIC

Nine gears keep engine speed as low as possible in every driving situation. Thanks to its wide spread of ratios, the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission gives the van strong pulling power and agility, and helps it move off smoothly whether it is loaded or empty.

Interior Highlights

MBUX multimedia system

MBUX brings intelligent multimedia to the cab. It runs on a high-resolution touchscreen, with several ways to interact.

Luxury overhead control panel

Many of the van’s functions sit within easy reach overhead, operated by switches, buttons or voice control.

Digital inside mirror

Partition walls, open doors and a full load can all block a conventional mirror. The optional digital inside mirror keeps a good view to the rear regardless.

Multifunction steering wheel

Touch control panels on the steering wheel put the most important functions at your fingertips, so your hands stay on the wheel.

THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control system

On hot days in particular, adding the THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control keeps the cab comfortable.

Practical stowage compartments

Well-designed stowage keeps the cab tidy. The smartphone tray is especially practical, with wireless charging built in.

Comfortable seat variants

Seats in the cab can be chosen to suit the way you work. For long days behind the wheel, the comfort seats for the driver and front passenger are particularly comfortable and ergonomic.

Compartment Area

Robust floor coverings

Choose the floor that suits your loads. The weight-optimised plastic floor [1] is easy to care for. For pallet cages or heavy Euro pallets, the particularly robust wooden floor is the better choice, and an aluminium protective strip can be added to guard the edge at the sliding door entrance, helping the floor last.

Flexible fastening systems

Depending on vehicle length, 6 or 12 lashing eyes are anchored in the load floor as standard. For bulky cargo, lashing rails can be added to the side walls on the roof frame or the belt rail. A rail system for load anchoring is also available for the wooden floor, together with matching tensioning straps.

Lighting for a good overview

In a windowless load compartment, or on night-time jobs, good lighting is essential. Two energy-saving LED light strips under the roof illuminate the compartment with as few shadows as possible. They switch on at the touch of a button or automatically when a door opens. An optional motion detector turns them on as you step inside.

Full-width partition with window

A full-width partition with a fixed window separates the cab from the load compartment. It adds safety and lets you check on the cargo at a glance.

Load Compartment Package

This package is designed to make everyday work easier. Grab handles help you climb into both the cab and the load compartment. Wooden interior trim runs up to roof height, while lashing rails on the belt rail simplify handling cargo. When the light is poor, an LED light strip helps with loading and unloading.

Digital Extras

Navigation

Mercedes-Benz Navigation responds quickly to touch or voice input. It draws on both local and up-to-date online information to guide you to your destination reliably, saving time on every job.

Smartphone Integration Package

Connect your phone through Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto® and your most important apps appear on the multimedia display. Third-party apps such as Spotify are quick and easy to use as well.

Tyre pressure system on front and rear axle, wireless

Every tyre is monitored, and the driver is alerted if pressure drops. Correct tyre pressure plays an important part in safe, comfortable steering and braking, and it helps your tyres last longer.

Stay connected with Digital Extras

Keep track of where your van is, along with its performance and maintenance, from anywhere through the Mercedes-Benz app. The Sprinter comes with a complimentary three-year Digital Extras subscription.

Driver Assistance

Parking Package with 360° camera

An all-round view makes parking and manoeuvring a large van far easier. The 3D 360° camera shows the Sprinter in real time within its actual surroundings, helping the driver spot obstacles, with Parking Assist adding further support.*

Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC

On the motorway or in stop-start traffic, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC can hold a set distance to the vehicle ahead. To do so, it accelerates the van by itself and brakes with up to half of the available braking power.*

Active Brake Assist

Active Brake Assist can help avoid accidents with other road users, or reduce their consequences. It works in a range of situations, including vehicles ahead of you, stationary traffic, road users crossing or turning, and oncoming traffic while you overtake.*

Blind Spot Assist

When you change lanes or reverse out of a park, Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn you with visual and audible signals. If a vehicle is in your blind spot, a red triangle appears in the matching exterior mirror.

Active Lane Keeping Assist

Should the van begin to leave its lane unintentionally, Active Lane Keeping Assist can guide it back with a corrective steering intervention. It also warns the driver through vibration in the steering wheel.*

ATTENTION ASSIST

ATTENTION ASSIST comes into its own at night and on long journeys. If it identifies typical signs of drowsiness or inattention, it gives a visual and audible warning and suggests taking a break.

Traffic Sign Assist

Detected speed limits are displayed continuously on the instrument cluster and the media display. Traffic Sign Assist also shows no-entry and no-overtaking signs, and when restrictions are lifted, which is particularly helpful through road works.

Moving Off Information Assist

Pulling away in busy traffic, Moving Off Information Assist monitors the area directly in front of the van. If it detects a road user close by, it issues a visual and audible alert.

BSIS Sideguard Assist

BSIS Sideguard Assist extends blind spot detection on the passenger side, where road users are hardest to see. When there is a risk of collision, a red warning symbol lights up in the exterior mirror and an audible signal sounds.

Safety & Comfort

MULTIBEAM LED with Highbeam Assist Plus

A camera behind the windscreen monitors the road ahead at all times. Highbeam Assist uses it to switch between main and dipped beams automatically, so the driver no longer has to.

Adaptive brake light

Brake hard at more than 50 km/h and the brake lights flash, warning following traffic and helping to prevent a rear-end collision.*

Parking package with reversing camera

The reversing camera displays the area directly behind the van, so obstacles are easier to spot. Up to 10 km/h, Parking Assist also gives visual and audible warnings of obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle.

Digital inside Mirror

A camera image feeds the digital inside rearview mirror, giving you a clearer picture of the traffic directly behind. Parking and manoeuvring become noticeably easier.

Luxury driver and co-driver seat

Using levers and adjustment wheels, the comfort seats can be set for position, height and inclination. With this much adjustment, even long journeys remain comfortable for the driver and front passenger.

Electrically adjustable seats for the driver and front passenger

Find the right seating position at the touch of a button. Fore and aft position, seat height, backrest angle and cushion angle are all power-adjustable.

Lumbar support for driver and co-driver seats

Two air bladders in the backrest provide pneumatic lumbar support. A 4-way switch on the outside of the seat controls their height and curvature, so the driver and front passenger can each set it to suit.
